Collage

For this project, students cut pictures and words from magazines and newspapers or any other materials they consider appropriate and glue them onto paper. The subject matter is left up to the student’s choice. They can choose to illustrate any aspect of their life they think is important, typically a negative one, and try to express their feelings through the collage. Alternatively, they can create a collage illustrating their dream, impression of their favorite book, movie, or play, or they can create a self-portrait, trying to depict their personality, character, interests, and habits.
