Patrick Arrasmith was born and raised in Walnut Creek, California, and attended California College of Arts. He moved to New York City after receiving a scholarship from the Society of Illustrators, and stayed out there for the next 20 years. He now lives in the Seattle area with his wife and two kids.
He's worked with NYT, Harpercollins Books, Shiner Beer and the Harry Potter Empire in his extensive career, illustrating the interiors and covers of many books.
